Rev. Kelly has ended her full-time ministry with Hampton United Church but has agreed to have a quarter time (10 hours/week) appointment to help lead worship through the summer into September. Rev. Kelly is also available for hospital visits. If you have a pastoral emergency or need Rev. Kelly to visit someone in the hospital, please reach out to her on her cell at 609-7385. Rev. Kelly’s last Sunday with Hampton United Church will be Sunday October 3rd, where we will celebrate communion and Rev. Kelly’s ministry with us.
The will be no Worship service at Hampton United Church on Sunday August 1. Worship will otherwise continue in person, on Zoom and available on YouTube throughout the summer.
The Search Committee is up and running and is navigating the steps to finding a new minister for Hampton United. We have been fortunate to be assigned the Rev. Dr. Ian Manson as liaison person and Darrell Kilpatrick has kindly agreed to chair the committee with support from fellow members: Dianne Moase, Lucy Hernandez, Carole Wallace, Shelby Gallant, Brent Godbout, Janet Kidd, Todd Beach and Kim Forsythe-Law. The congregation will be kept updated and if anyone has any questions or concerns, please contact any of the members of the committee.
Kim is on vacation and out of the office for the summer. Through July and August, she will continue to check her emails and the phone messages will be answered. During the summer, if you have a pastoral emergency, call 832-5050 and listen to the answering machine message for a name and number of who is on call.
